Our daughter joined The Villa in Nursery, and left at the end of Year 2. Although the school finishes at pre prep, our experience has shown that this is one of its greatest strengths, not a weakness. The Villa gives children such a solid foundation for the next step that they genuinely flourish wherever they go.
She was the only child in her year to move on to a state school and arrived as one of just a few new starters in a class where most children had been together since Reception. It was a big transition, yet the confidence and emotional intelligence she gained at The Villa helped her adapt with strength and resilience.

Her new teacher quickly noticed the way she approaches challenges and social situations. In one instance she described a difficult interaction with another child not with frustration but with empathy, truly understanding and being able to articulate the reason the other child had behaved in the way she had. This thoughtful way of seeing others is something that was consistently nurtured at The Villa.
The school builds children who are grounded, kind and curious. They learn to communicate well, to understand others, and to approach the world with confidence. Academically she was very well prepared, but what stood out even more was her worldview, her empathy, and her sense of self, this was shown in the feedback we received from her teacher: “I'd like to commend her for her maturity and empathy in the way she described these situations.”

The transition of moving on to another school after Year 2 hasn’t held her back in any way. If anything, she entered her new school more ready than many of her peers.
We feel incredibly grateful for her time at The Villa and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any family considering it.
